Westmount School supports The Little Miracles Trust
Westmount school, from the Manawatu, recently ran a cake competition which benefited The Little Miracles Trust.
Westmount currently has a roll of 151 students ranging from Year 3 to Year 13.
The cakes from the competition were auctioned off afterwards, raising an amazing $1,087.00. The person with the cake that sold for the most then decided on which charity they wanted to donate the money to. Congratulations to Larry Hart on winning the cake competition and thanks so much for selecting The Little Miracles Trust.
Pictured to the right, Year 13 student Talya Cox presents the ‘Large Bank transfer’ to Peter Vullings who accepted the donation and said a few words on behalf of The Little Miracles Trust (Thanks Peter).
Peter is the father of ex 25-weeker Ollie, who is now a happy, healthy 7 year old. Ollie spent 6½ weeks in Wellington NICU and a further 7 weeks in Palmerston North SCBU before being allowed home just 2 days before his actual due date.
In the photo below, Peter is flanked by Larry Hart (left) who won the cake competition and Talya Cox (right).
