Information Collection:
We will only collect personal Information from you where it is needed for a lawful purpose connected with a function or activity of the Little Miracles Trust.
We will collect information from you directly, or from third parties where permitted by Principle 2 of the Privacy Act, or the Health Information Privacy Code. We may also generate personal information about you (for example, when taking notes of services provided etc.).
We collect information about you or your baby in person, online through the Little Miracles Trust website (https://littlemiraclestrust.org.nz/), by post, by phone, when you make a donation or purchase from our online store, register as a volunteer, or when you use our services, or participate in research.
We may also collect information from third parties where you have authorized us to do so, or where the information is publicly available.
Uses and Disclosure:
We collect information for specific purposes, such as:
• making and maintaining contact with you
• volunteer recruitment
• creating a financial donor database
• assessing your suitability for employment
• maintaining and administering your terms and conditions of employment
• maintaining quality systems

• need to enforce or apply our terms and conditions

Security:

However, we have physical, electronic and managerial processes in place to protect the information we collect via our website or email. The information you send is passed through a secure server using encryption technology. All stored customer information is protected with secure passwords, user log-ons and other security procedures.

How To Make a Privacy Complaint If You Feel Your Privacy Has Been Breached:
If you have a privacy concern you can contact us on info@littlemiraclestrust.org.nz Any privacy complaints aim to be handled within 15 working days. The reason for any required extensions of more than 20 working days will be advised. If you are not satisfied with this process, you can
raise the matter with the Privacy Commissioner.
