The Warehouse "Plastic Bags for Good" help out The Little Miracles Trust
The Little Miracles Trust in Waikato has been one of the recipients of the donations made from The Warehouse’s ‘Plastic Bags for Good’ Initiative.
The donation came just in time for the beginning of winter, a time when the number of premature and sick new-borns increases.
The funds from the Plastic Bags for Good Initiative have been used to buy enough merino fabric for The Little Miracles Trust in Waikato to make a blanket for each baby in the NICU for 4 months! They have also been able to purchase food vouchers which will provide breakfast and lunch for the parents caring for their babies in the NICU for the next 3 months.
These simple, yet practical gestures of assistance can make a world of difference to neonatal families. The Little Miracles Trust would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Warehouse for choosing to donate to our cause.
