Neonatal Ward gets new printer through Taranaki Neonatal Parent Support Group

Parents with children in the neonatal ward at Taranaki Base Hospital will be able to take a token of their newborn babies away with them. The ward has just got a new high quality Fuji photo printer so that parents can have a picture of their premature baby, thanks to New Zealand Tattoo and Art Festival, The Warehouse New Plymouth and funds raised from The Little Miracles Trust Taranaki Parent Support Group Ball held in November last year.

The Little Miracles Trust Taranaki Parent Support Group chairwoman Philippa Gray said having a photo will provide considerable comfort to people who are separated from their babies for whatever reason.
