Miss Bebich's running race
Alana Bebich is a teacher at Ponsonby Primary School in Auckland and now a Neonatal Hero!
She has a delightful class of engaging and bright students, one of whom is Jack who was born at 24 weeks. As Alana has learned more about Jack and his amazing journey, she has decided that on 2 November 2014 she will run the Auckland Marathon in support of The Little Miracles Trust!
Alana has two aims: to show her students how we can set goals and achieve them and also to raise awareness for the cause that helped Jack, his family, and other families whose babies are born premature.
We are incredibly grateful to Alana for supporting us. We wish her well with her training in the coming months and for the marathon in November!

Thanks so much for sharing your personal story!
We get a lot of positive feedback from families in a neonatal unit who read these stories and feel strength, hope and positivity knowing that they are not alone going through these experiences and feeling certain emotions.
If you would like to discuss sharing the story of your neonatal journey, we’d love to hear from you.
