Celebrating Volunteers
It’s National Volunteer week 18 – 25 June 2017
We want to celebrate and acknowledge the wonderful support we receive from volunteers that enables our support of neonatal families. From hundreds of knitters, to volunteers who support with baking, fundraising, writing & editing, sewing and raising awareness – we simply could not function without volunteers.
Here’s some volunteer profiles that give an insight into the wonderful people that support us:
Volunteers are an extremely important part of our team and are vital for the continued support of neonatal families. You don’t have to have had a baby in a neonatal unit to get involved as a volunteer. You might want to support some of the regular ongoing support activities of The Neonatal Trust like writing newsletters or website content, managing our database of volunteers, or just help us from time to time as you can with running events and fundraising.

If you want to help our support of families going through the stress and anxiety of a neonatal journey, you can donate via the link below.
- The Little Miracles Trust provides support to families of premature or sick full-term babies as they make their journey through Neonatal Intensive Care, the transition home, and onwards. We do not receive any Government funding and are entirely reliant on the generosity of individuals, companies and organisations in the form of donations, value-in-kind donations, grants, sponsorship and fundraising events to supplement operating costs and fund our services and initiatives.
- As we are a registered charity (CC56619) with Charities Services New Zealand we will send you an IRD compliant tax receipt – this will happen automatically by return email.
