Sally
Family Support Coordinator – Auckland
Sally is a mum of three and is currently studying nursing at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). Her passion for supporting NICU families stems from her own experience of having twin boys who were born prematurely at 36 weeks. Although they didn’t require NICU care, experiencing a premature birth gave Sally an understanding of the uncertainty, emotions and challenges that can arise when babies arrive earlier than expected.
Outside of work and study, Sally enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She also loves playing tennis and horse riding whenever she gets the chance.
Inspired by her own journey and her passion for nursing and helping others, Sally joined Little Miracles Trust to support families navigating their neonatal journey. She feels privileged to walk alongside whānau during this important time, offering compassion, encouragement and practical support. Sally hopes every family she meets feels heard, supported and reassured that they are not alone.
