The Little Miracles Trust Developmental Playgroup
We’re having a great year this year with record numbers at the group! Kathryn and Janet would love to see any ex-NICU/SCBU families and babies for our fortnightly playgroup at the Parenting Place, Greenlane which is easily accessible from all parts of Auckland.  In October we’ll be running the groups on and 3rd, 17th and 31st from 10am til 11.30am.  There’s no need to worry about being on time or staying for the whole time, feel free to come and go as works for you and your baby. Please note we will need you to bring proof your immunity status for MMR and that of any older children you have at home.

Coffee Confidential
Come along to our free, facilitated coffee group on Friday 8 November where Jen, Mum to ex-24 weeker, will be there to shout you coffee and chat with you about your NICU experience both in the hospital and now you’re home.  12.30-2pm at The Parenting Place, Greenlane.

Neonatal November at New World

Incubator placement.jpg
Keep your eyes peeled for our Neonatal Trust incubator collection box this Neonatal November at your local Hamilton New World!
A big shout out to New World Rototuna, Te Rapa and Glenview for hosting the incubator this month as we acknowledge the difficult journey neonatal families travel and thank the amazing professionals in our NICU’s for taking  care of our most vulnerable babies.
We can’t do what we do without the generous help of caring Kiwi’s, so if you can, please make a donation when you see one of our incubators. Your small change adds up to make a big difference!

It’s Waikato A&P Show Time!
It is that time of year again. The annual Waikato A&P Show is being held for the 127th  time at Claudelands Event Centre from 1 to 3 November.
The Little Miracles Trust are thrilled to be a part of the home industries display where you can see our display incubator and also admire some of the amazing wool creations by local knitters. We are enormously grateful to all of the amazing crafters who make and donate wool hats, singlets, cardigans and blankets for our preemies!
Come and say hi to the local Creative Fibre groups, and admire the photo competition at the same time.
Gates are open from 9am to 4pm daily!

More Volunteers Needed please on Friday 15th November
Wellington Airport has very kindly offered us the opportunity of a collection day for The Little Miracles Trust Wellington inside their airport terminal from 7.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.  We are hoping to get enough collectors to allow for 2 hour shifts.  Free airport parking will be provided for all collectors on the day.  If you and your workmates (using a volunteer day), friends or family are available we would love to hear from you asap.  Please call Tasia or Raewyn Ph (04) 806-0790 or email office@littlemiraclestrust.org.nz

SCBU Coffee/Play Group – last one for 2019
Friday 15th November from 10.00 a.m. – 11.30 a.m. at Columbus Cafe inside Upper Hutt Mitre 10.  We invite all our SCBU Graduate families to join us for a coffee/muffin and chat.  Please make the effort to come along as the last two months our Neonatal Trust Volunteer (a NICU Graduate Mum) who kindly provides her time to run this event, has had nobody attend so we will have to review whether to continue this in 2020 if we don’t get a better response this time.
