Five Massimo machines have just arrived in the NICU in Wellington.

These pumps are going to help babies get home a bit earlier.  They have the ability to monitor and record apnoeas and feed that information back to the nurses so that they can make much better calls on when it is time to go home. They can even be used by babies at home now that we have more available in the unit.

These were purchased from the funds raised at last year’s Wellington Ball.  What an amazing effort by all who organised the ball with special mention to Elaine Harris, Dave and Sarah Blaney, Claire Goodger, Karen Olver who did an amazing amount of organising for this ball and thank you to all those who attended the ball and supported the Trust.
